Municipalities’ Obligation To Provide Hearing Venues

Municipalities are obligated to provide a venue for OMB hearings. Municipalities that have a courthouse should allow OMB Members the same privilege of use as they would for any judge to administer justice. When the Board sits in a municipality where there is no courthouse, the municipality should allow sittings in the town hall and/or make arrangements for another suitable venue.
